The Acrid is an Infested weapon unlockable through Bio Lab Research in the dojo. It appears to be a needle gun which kills enemies with toxic injections. Its damage is poison elemental, similar to Mire.
Characteristics[]
Advantages:
- Innate armor ignoring.
- Leaves a stackable damage-over-time effect which ticks 4 times over 4 seconds for 75% of original damage as Poison damage per tick
- DoT can be improved via Hornet Strike
- Fast reloading speed.
- High rate of fire.
- No recoil.
- Silent.
Disadvantages:
- Bolts have a travel time.
- Inaccurate beyond medium range.
- It is a Dojo research weapon and requires a large amount of materials.
- Requires Mastery Rank 7.
