The Acrid is an Infested weapon unlockable through Bio Lab Research in the dojo. It appears to be a needle gun which kills enemies with toxic injections. Its damage is poison elemental, similar to Mire.

Characteristics[]

Advantages:

  • Innate armor ignoring.
  • Leaves a stackable damage-over-time effect which ticks 4 times over 4 seconds for 75% of original damage as Poison damage per tick
  • DoT can be improved via Hornet Strike
  • Fast reloading speed.
  • High rate of fire.
  • No recoil.
  • Silent.

Disadvantages:

  • Bolts have a travel time.
  • Inaccurate beyond medium range.
  • It is a Dojo research weapon and requires a large amount of materials.
  • Requires Mastery Rank 7.
